RESIDENTAL COMPLEX "MONPLAISIR"

with the layout of the adjacent park, Moscow

2000

The historically established nature reserve under the general name "Serebryany Bor" is part of the nature conservation complex of Moscow. The Moscow River in this place makes a loop, forming a green island, covered with a pine forest with bizarre bays and small lakes. It is no coincidence that Serebryany Bor is a favorite vacation spot for Muscovites. The southern part of this island is separated by a bay and a lowland with marshy soil from the main part of the Silver Forest. It has historically been considered soil "uncomfortable." The Great Zvenigorod Road passed along the very shore, and in the eastern part there were several residential buildings called Konyushennaya Sloboda. In Soviet times, there was a quarry of the Moscow sandbase. Separation from residential areas, abandonment of this land allows now, in the summer, to conduct motocross amateur athletes in this place. The earth is pitted and disfigured, which contrasts sharply with the main part of the park territory (see aerial photography) and, of course, needs to be improved. The entire territory of "Serebryany Bor" is a naturally preserved natural monument. The main idea of the project proposal is the creation of a system of a regular landscape park gradually developing into the Serebryany Bor natural complex on the territory being developed. The main structure of the planning composition is the traditional scheme of the russian park, which is a mixture of regular "french" park and british "heroic-landscape" with the naturalness of real russian nature. The developed entrance area with the architecture having the tectonics of the mansion palace goes into a view ground with a cascade of fountains with a chain of park pavilions under the general name "Monplaisir". This elite residential complex is built on the aesthetics of the French regular park, and the park’s parterres themselves are open to walking citizens. From here we find ourselves on the main alley leading deep into the park to the highest point of the park complex, which overlooks the Moscow River and the entire Serebryany Bor. In addition to the main alley from the "french" stalls, several more parallel clearings and rays come out, which gradually dissolve into the depths of the forest, go into paths, embankments of the beaches of the river bays. Functionally, the main transport artery passes through the Khoroshevsky bridge on the Moscow River and Tamanskaya Street. Immediately after the territory of Konyushennaya Sloboda, a view opens onto the square where the former trolleybus fleet used to be located, two public pavilions with a main portal - the main entrance to the park - are symmetrically located on the square. It is convenient to come here by public transport, as well as by car, leaving them here in the parking lot (see transport scheme). Translated from french, "Monplaisir" means "my pleasure". The word itself for a Russian person is associated with the residential park house of Peter I in Peterhof. Of course, the influence of western art, which was reflected in the history of architecture of russian estates, is undeniable. But on "russian soil" this influence was transformed into an independent architectural style of the "russian estate" and "russian park", but they have more innocence, gentleness and literary romanticism, although the names of the details remained - fountain, basket, stalls, etc. Traditionally park architecture has its own specifics - it is a connection between the beauty of nature and time. History and literary romanticism are also of great importance. In the 18th century the horse guards regiment was located on this very spot, and the name "Konyushennaya" (soldier's) settlement also affects the planning decision. It is expressed in the emphasized strict regular layout of the stalls and in the same rhythm of the residential pavilions, which together makes up a single composition in contrast to the picturesque winding paths, shores of bays and lakes. Walking, boating, horseback riding, admiring nature meets the name "Monplaisir", and all together - the traditional understanding of the beauty of the russian park.
