The village of “Nikolino”, spontaneously formed and built without a master plan in just a few years. Now it has its own functional structure. The goal of this project is to link the current situation with ideas for the future into a single artistic image. At different sites, cottages are built using the same technology, but different in style and number of storeys. In future projects, this difference is even greater. The names of the buildings speak for themselves: an English house, a French house, a house with a red or blue roof, a manor house, a house-castle ... It so happened that the idea of ​​theatricality is already at the heart of the artistic image of the whole complex. There is not enough key to understand the hidden artistic image. Theater is a spectator and a spectacle. In a classical theater, a “picture” is arranged on the stage, which is perceived from certain points. Also in the classical science of park art - in front of a walking spectator, pictures of nature are drawn artificially constructed by a gardening architect. The task of the project is to direct the public zone, which means building pictures on the path of the viewer. Roads, squares, park alleys - everything should become a spectacle, alternately revealing, replacing each other. On the general plan scheme, the main walking alley of the village is defined, which should loop and thereby unite the entire complex of the village. As an example of general scenography, the idea-concept includes a project proposal of 3 nodes of the public zone of the village.

“Artificial Lake”

    The basis of the composition “Artificial Lake” is an alley, water, an artificial island and a bridge arbor. The composition is simple, theatrical and imaginative solution is the main thing. All functional buildings - cottages and leisure buildings - must be closed by greenery.

“Circus” or “Giants Square”

​

   Here the square is formed by: 7 front gates - these are the main entrances to the manor complexes, the fountain with the sculpture group “Battle of the Centaurs” and the main staircase.

“Italian staircase”

​

   This composition includes two walls with fragments of sculptures and greenery, the staircase itself with gentle steps, a fountain and a cascade. It is the sophisticated, theatrical, imaginative solution of the public zone that should become the key to the perception of the artistic image of the entire residential complex.
